Miscellaneous Maths Notes

Welcome to the section of my web site concerned with mathematics. I have started this because I have started to teach maths for various courses at Bellerby's College in Roehampton. This site contains the notes that I have created for those courses. However, it is just general maths, so anyone can use it.

The actual links for the sites are on the left of the screen. Of course, different topics are needed for different syllabuses, so you should check the table to see if a particular topic appears on the syllabus which you are studying (as indicated by a smiley face). FDN = Foundation, QM = MQP Quantitative Methods and B.Dip. = Business Diploma.

Whenever you see the following symbol in one of these tutorials, you can click on it to produce an interactive question which you can answer on the screen. Please note: These questions only work properly with Internet Explorer (IE) - sorry! I am working on a Netscape version ...

I have also included some multiple choice questions. These are mainly for the GMAT students, and fall into two categories, Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency. Please see the GMAT tutorial for more details. Click on this icon when you see it for these questions.

Originally I had written some notes in Microsoft Word for some (not all!) of these topics. Due to space restrictions, I have had to remove these notes from the site, but you can still download them as a compressed ZIP file, by clicking on the icon on the right. If you can't handle ZIP files, E-mail me and ask me to send you the uncompressed file.
